If he does not repent, i.e., if he does not recant his belief with the two testifications of faith, he is asked to repent, i.e., he is ordered to return to Islam through the two testifications. Nothing is accepted from him except Islam or execution. The caliph executes him according to the conditions mentioned in the long books... That's only the job of a legitimate Muslim ruler, and we're in a non-Muslim jurisdiction. So nobody possesses that authority here. We cannot apply prescribed punishments, um, in this environment. It's not permissible.

Is it the Judgment of ignorance that you're asking for? And in tafsir of this verse the scholars say every judgment other than the Judgment of the Quran and the Sunnah is the Judgment of ignorance. Any legal code in Wayne County that doesn't conform to the Book and the Sunnah is the judgment and the rule of ignorance. Any legal code in Missouri that doesn't judge according to the Sharia is the Judgment of ignorance. Anything in what they call their constitution that doesn't judge according to the Book and the Sunnah is the Judgment of ignorance.
